Hi guys just found this site and looks like tons of good info.
Me & my wife have 10ac of land that we are building a house on about 40% done and want to buy a tractor for bush hoging about 6ac of land and cleaning up our dirt road with a box blade. And moveing dirt around for a moto cross track after the house is finshed.
I got a price on a kubota 3130 with a LA 513 loader
5'box blade and a 5' rhino SE5 for a total cost of $19,390.00 I priced the same set up at 3 outher dealers
and they were like $2,200 more then the $19.390.00
So I would like to know is this a good price and a good setup for the long run do not want to have to turn around 5yrs from now and buy all new again.
If it makes a diff for price I live in florida.

That would be a big, solid, powerful tractor for your needs. You have sized the brush cutter about right, but if you want to you could go a notch bigger on the box scraper. ....

You didn't say what tires where on the tractor but industrials will put you about 66" wide, wider then your attachments which is not a good situation. ....

Sorry about the tires they are going to be industrials.
So I need to go with a 6' mower & 6' box blade to make it work right?
Going in sat to put money down so I can get it by next weekend. So I want to make sure I get the right size on all this stuff.

I would suggest going with a 6' box blade to cover your rear tread width and a rotary cutter that is appropriate for your needs. Most medium duty cutters require more pto hp to operate than light duty cutters. If you need a medium duty cutter to cut stuff up to maybe 2" or slightly larger you will have to get a smaller one. If a light duty cutter will meet your needs you can go larger. Be sure your new tractor can deliver the pto hp required by your cutter. ....

I'm not sure what the dealer's thinking is about packaging implements that are narrower than the tire tracks--maybe that the R4 tires have less traction than ags. But there can be all sorts of aggravations working with narrow implements but power and traction problems can usually be managed by going slower or taking smaller bites. I have a 6' 750 lbs. box scraper for my 3,000 lbs. 24 pto hp tractor & loader with turf tires. It tracks a few inches wider than 5'. It can be traction challenged cutting sod with the scarifiers but I manage and having width outside the tires is very handy.
If you expect to do much work with the scraper, in general the heavier they are the better they work. They aren't very expensive implements and cheap light ones don't have the weight to cut hard ground. You might check if the tractor will have a valve controlled rear outlet. I didn't find my scraper very useful until I got a hydraulic top-link. Many implements have hydraulic options. It's possible to steal the loader bucket circuit for 3ph implements by having extra long hoses on them, but rear outlets are very handy. I run a snow-blower, back-hoe and forklift from mine in addition the top-link, although a power-beyond hook up would be better for the hoe. ....

Several manufacturers do offer offset hogs so you might want to see if he has them available. They do cost a little more but they will make mowing easier and give you a better quality job. ....
